Annika is majoring in Biology with a focus in Genetics and Development as an undergraduate student at Penn State University researching in the lab. Having joined in the fall, she has been producing quality human bacterial isolates and genomes. She has also expanded her sequencing skillset through learning amplicon sequencing and high throughput scaled genome/metagenome preparation. Outside of the lab, she enjoys listening to music and spontaneous adventures of any kind.
