Joy is an undergraduate student in Penn State’s Premedical-Medical (BS/MD) program. In the Bisanz lab, she studies how diet- and host-derived metabolites trigger shape viral dynamics in the gut microbiome. Outside of the lab, Joy enjoys creative writing, going on runs, and spending time with her friends.
